| This is probably the most
attractive park in Civitavecchia, especially now that it has been
largely restored by the Municipal administration. The park is situated
to the left of the Municipal building, immediately after the parking
area, and it's perimeter is delineated by a fence with an entrance
on one side and one on the other. The area is not very big, however,
because of the beauty of this location, it is always very crowded.
In fact, the look of the Pincio Park has recently been completely
transformed and remodeled to reflect the principals of Oriental culture
and more precisely that of Japan. In this regard, it is possible to
admire the fascinating statues of the Japanese lions, the enchanting
water-hole with bamboo canes and other artifacts that have been harmonically
arranged in an orderly and cared for environment, as though it were
the courtyard of the house of an ancient Samurai. |
